“MYSTERY WAITRESS KISSES UNDERWORLD TYCOON VINCENT DELUCA AFTER PUBLIC HUMILIATION!” screamed the headlines of the city’s leading tabloid.
Clips of Tyler Hayes sneering, “Who would ever choose you when women like Vanessa exist?” were spliced directly together with footage of Vincent DeLuca stepping out of his private table, lifting Emily’s chin, and silencing the entire room with a single, devastating kiss.

Tyler’s identity, his tech startup, his corporate office address, and his newly minted fiancée, Vanessa Sterling, were dragged into the glaring light of public scrutiny. The internet showed no mercy.
