Chapter 10 - The Unshakable Horizon

Five years later.
The morning sun rose over the Pacific Ocean in a brilliant explosion of gold, magenta, and deep cobalt blue.
I stood on the wide glass-paneled balcony of my Beverly Hills estate, holding a cup of steaming black coffee, looking out over the endless expanse of the horizon.
My life was entirely my own. Every patent, every server, every dollar, and every breath belonged to me—earned through hard work, tested by betrayal, and secured by absolute vigilance.
Richard was spending his days inside the maximum-security confines of ADX Florence, staring at gray concrete walls, living out a life sentence of absolute isolation where no amount of charm or manipulation could ever buy him a way out.
He had tried to push me out of a helicopter, believing he was about to inherit an empire and step into a future of effortless wealth.
Instead, he had simply given me the ultimate clarity: the knowledge that I was never vulnerable, never helpless, and never alone as long as I trusted my own instincts.
